the studio

Welcome to the VenusGirl Studio! Located in Oakland off the Park Blvd exit, we conveniently have easy (and free!) street parking and a cozy couch for you to settle into during your session. The studio is upstairs in a vintage 1920’s building with a private restroom, amenities such as coffee, tea and water with nesting tables for you to enjoy your snacks. Please note newborn sessions are conducted in our Oakland studio Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays.

At VGP, we always wash all fabrics, have a medical grade Hepa filter in the studio, are vaccinated, test regularly (test the morning of your session upon request) and mask up at all indoor sessions. Bonus: Living alone with no kiddos that may carry germs. We have a perfect 100% score of keeping ALL the babies healthy for last few years and beyonnd. You can’t beat that!
